When you donate blood, we’ll donate money in your name to a charitable cause you select.
We raise sponsorships for these blood donations. When you donate blood and we donate money, together we impact twice as many participants. Your blood donation helps 3 people. The money we raise helps 3 more.

Why?
There are many reasons why people can’t donate blood. Where’s Your Heart?’s founder, David Bressler, can’t donate because he travels to places that make his blood undesirable. Other people are unhealthy, while yet others are too thin. Some just don’t like needles. Giving blood is important. We’d like to encourage people who can’t donate to sponsor those who can, but might otherwise be unmotivated.
It’s Simple
We raise $20 for each blood donation.
Your donation will incentize blood donors, because they get to select a cause to receive your donation1.
Once the blood donation is complete, the blood donor simply selects the cause to receive their sponsored donation and uploads proof of blood donation.
We validate that their cause is a certified 501(c)(3) and write a check. Simple!
- 75%, $15, is sent to the target cause, the remaining 25% is used to fund Where’s Your Heart?’s charitable mission and to cover our expenses, including payment processing. WYH? is a US 501(c)(3) organization, the full $20 donation is tax deductible. [↩]
