To improve people’s lives through altruistic living
Where’s Your Heart? Foundation is a US 501(c)3 (registered charitable organization). We’re working to change how people participate in charitable events, and breaking down the traditional metaphors around which we relate to others.
You know that feeling you get when you do something good (something altruistic)? We believe that feeling is important. It turns a bad day into a good one, or at least makes a tough day a little easier. You’ve all felt it, right?
Our events will create that feeling, use technology to nurture and magnify it, then use social media principles to share it and set it free.
In fact, our first event, Cleanse for Your Cause, raised almost $10,000 for 13 different causes with over 150 participants in 16 countries! Check out the details on our Facebook fan page.
While we’re building this site how about participating in our second event – Bleed for Your Cause? You can participate with a small $20 donation or by donating blood (doesn’t cost anything to donate blood; in fact, we’ll donate money to a cause of your choice to thank you for donating blood).
